Week 4: Almost Midterm!

Midterm tests are coming up. My stats class has their's this Friday. It's open note and open book. It's on levels of measurement (nominal, ordinal and scale), mean, mode and median, standard error, standard deviation, graph types, etc. We move on to z and t tests next week.

Last week we talked about Wittgenstein, Weber and others in History of Anthropology. It's Foucault this week.

I've noticed that many of the theorists we have read so far have had really crappy lives. Especially Gramsci and Foucault. And Malinowski, wow. I am surprised that they have an award named after him at the AAPA conference.

We are still discussing the fossil record in Primate Evolution. It's Neanderthals this week. We move on to evolutionary behavior soon.

I took a few picture of the flowers on campus and a robin that didn't want me to walk on the sidewalk. I think it had a nest in the bushes.
