Week 9: 2 Days!

Only two more days of class and I get to go home! I can't wait! The weather reports are making me nervous. There is supposed to be snow at home this week. I haven't checked the passes because I am going anyway. :)

I filled my car with gas. It's only $2.14 a gallon here.

We are still studying ceramics in Archaeology. I think we start textiles the Monday after Thanksgiving. Our lab project is still in the data entry phase.

There was no Theory class on Thursday because our professor went to Denver for the AAA conference. We start "pet theories" on Tuesday. I don't present mine until December 3rd. My paper is 2100+ words and just needs revision.

I don't have any photos this week. With the cold weather, I just want to hibernate in my pjs in my room. I could show you photos of the horrific mess someone made of our dorm's kitchen cutting up a pomegranate. It looks like a crime scene. It's even on the floor. There's moldy dishes sitting on the counter too. I can't imagine people treating their parent's kitchen that way, so why is it okay here? Is it a sense of entitlement?

When I come back from Thanksgiving break, I have a week of classes before finals week. I just have the presentation for archaeology mid finals week and then I go home again.

Hopefully my next post will be from home. Cross your fingers that the roads will be clear for my drive home. (And back when I have to return.)
